It was the perfect day for
a frosty cupcake, with rain pelting the sidewalks of
Orinda, so everyone was in fine spirits for welcoming
local
entrepreneurs Chih-Chung Fang and Peter McNiff as
they brought perfect little bites in endless
combinations to town. No matter the weather, a cup cake
spells "fun" - so stop by for yours - and bring some

movie "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" was the third
screening in a monthly series of events planned to honor
the move by the California Independent Film Festival (CAIFF)
to their new home at Orinda Theatre Square. The
screening was be held on the big screen of the Orinda
Theatre on at 6 p.m. The event also featured a special
guest appearance by
Louise Fletcher,
who won an Oscar at the Academy Awards for Best Actress
for her portrayal of Nurse Ratched in the film. |
