Second Annual Orinda Restaurant Tour to Launch September 29^th
Attendees to Savor Culinary Delights While Benefitting Orinda’s Public Schools

San Francisco’s East Bay area food lovers will have the opportunity to join a fun, expeditionary culinary gathering to savor and sample their way through Orinda restaurants, on Tuesday, September 29th. The Orinda Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Educational Foundation of Orinda (EFO), a non-profit organization committed to providing financial support for quality educational and enrichment programs for Orinda’s public schools, are conducting the second annual Orinda Restaurant Tour.

The event will take place from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m.  Registration and hors d’oeuvres will be available at the Theatre Square shopping and entertainment complex from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.  The actual tour of the city’s restaurants will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., followed by dessert from 8:00 to 8:30 p.m. One glass of wine is included for adults. Participants will ride a San Francisco Trolley from restaurant to restaurant, and an auction of the painting "The Good Life" valued at $800 and donated by noted Orinda artist Allison McCrady will take place at the event.  

Each restaurant on the tour will provide a small portion that best represents the establishment at no cost to the event ticket holders. The cost of an individual ticket purchased in advance will be $30 (tickets purchased at the door of the event will be $35.00) with EFO receiving $10 from every ticket sold. Reservations will be limited to 250 ticket holders, so attendees are encouraged to reserve early.

The Chamber’s goal is to delight 250 participants – as they enjoy an evening of friendship, and discover the savory surprises the great chefs of the charming town have to offer.

2) Make sure to indicate (in the box provided) the number of tickets you desire. Each advance-purchase ticket is $30.00, with the Educational Foundation of Orinda receiving $10.00 of that amount. Tickets at the door will be $35.00 so reserve early!

3) Your ticket to the event will be held for you at the "Will Call" desk - located at Theatre Square on the evening of the Orinda Restaurant Tour. Make sure to print a copy of your receipt for purchase, which will be emailed to you immediately upon your purchase being completed.

4) Bring your printed receipt with you on the evening of the event to claim your ticket at the Will Call desk, located at Theatre Square in Orinda.
